Soapbox Car Race

The Soapbox car race is an obstacle course for
soapbox cars to complete which are all handmade,
non-motorised and gravity-powered vehicles.

The soapbox cars were judged on factors
such as speed, creativity and showmanship.
The grim jeeper was constructed by a team of 10 people which took us over the course of 2 months to complete. The process of constructing the soapbox car required many hours in the workshop, building the chassis, sanding and spraying individual pieces to have a polished model.
The "A" Team
With the concept of one of the most popular online multiplayer battle royale games in mind, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), the grim jeeper was designed and put together with careful planning for the highest fulfilment for speed, creativity and showmanship.
From the colour scheme, suspension of wheels to even the
props were all carefully decided to piece the grim jeeper.
